Polar Bear Paint ~ Created by Human Connection Arts to Take Place in February

30+ brave souls will get body painted by a talented group of HCA artists at an indoor studio in Greenwich Village. Then all will march several blocks to Washington Square Park for a quick photo shoot!

-All participants receive signed print of group shot
-Depending on weather, models can wear a robe, etc during the march
-Lunch, snacks and drinks available during the painting
-Return to the studio for a short hang or leave directly from WSP

Human Connection Arts Announces After 10 Years, July 23rd Will Be Last Bodypainting Day

NYC artist and free speech activist Andy Golub announced today that his 10th annual NYC Bodypainting Day will also be his last.

On Sunday, July 23rd, over 50 everyday people of all shapes, sizes, genders, ethnicities, and ages ranging from 20s to 80s will get fully nude and be body painted in the public streets of New York City. This year’s theme is “The Artist’s Voice,” encouraging each participating artist to share their unique vision with the world. Golub, the event organizer, explains, “The perspective of the artist, whether it’s a painter, musician, dancer, or poet, is an essential voice if we’re ever going to bring peace to this world.”

Human Connection Arts to Host ‘Sugar Hill Arts Festival’ in Harlem on May 6th

Next up for Human Connection Arts ~ Sugar Hill Arts Festival on May 6th, 2023 from 9:00am ~ 5:00pm in Jackie Robinson Park, Harlem, NYC. Enjoy a day of live canvas painting by a dozen talented local and international artists along with chalk art and music throughout the day.

July 23rd,is a special anniversary ~ It’s the 10th Year for NYC Bodypainting Day! This year’s theme is the voice of the Artist and the Event will be returning to Union Square.

August 1st connect with nature at Honey Hollow Sculpture Park in the Catskill Mountains.

September 23rd Human connection Arts will head to the Greek Islands for Crete Bodypainting Day!

HCA returned to Union Square Park for Body Painting Day, with a theme of Hope. Theyhad dozens of artists, models, a live DJ, and a double-decker bus ride. This year they added a special experience, the Circle of Hope! Over 1,000 people joining hands, singing songs about circles and connecting!

Live Bodypainting ~In the public streets of NYC– leaving a trail of inspiration wherever we go!

Human Connection Arts was launched in 2017, born from the days when Andy Golub, its founder, painted freely in the streets of New York City.

Now, the nonprofit ~ true to its mission of forming unique connections between artist and model during body painting ~ focuses on the vulnerabilities between models and artists, creating significant impact on artist, models and the public, as they strive to build a world where all people are accepted, regardless of race, gender, size, shape, age and even political views.

Kicking-off 2021, Human Connection Arts announced the opening of new indoor gallery and outdoor courtyard, set to open on January 18, 2021 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The new space will be located at Java Art Studios, where HCA will host free interactive events each week, including painting, poetry, music, movement, and conversations.
